Have a large family to feed, got a party to attend and don’t want to bring a “salad” like every other person brings, have no fear Classic Baked Mostaccioli is here! Five ingredients is all it will take, 20 minutes of prep and 50 minutes to bake! They’ll be amazed how well it taste, they’ll eat it all, there won’t be any waste. Hello all, I hope your day was great, at least as great as you could make it be. I hope you don’t mind my little rhyme. Once I sit to create my post, I think about the attributes to the dish and let my mind go. This dish has always been a staple and favorite of ours as it is again super easy and only requires a few ingredients and we always have leftovers, which taste even better the next day. I added sausage, but you could add ground beef, or make it vegetarian, maybe throw in some egg plant, you’re truly only limited by your imagination.

- 1 lb package of mostaccioli or penne will do, uncooked
- 1 lb bulk Italian sausage, cooked and drained
- 2 (26 ounce) jars of your favorite pasta sauce
- 4 cups shredded mozarella cheese
- chopped parsley
Preheat oven to 350. Prepare pasta as package directs. In large bowl, combine pasta, cooked sausage, pasta sauce and 2 cups of cheese; mix well. Turn into a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish; cover with foil. Bake 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Uncover; top with remaining 2 cups of cheese and parsley. Bake 10 minutes longer.
